She has dark skin but she learned to love herself and let her inner light shine. This book tries to inspire young girls around the world to embrace their individuality and uniqueness over the influences of mainstream media and social media about the standard of beauty.
Got mine yesterday as a surprise gift for my daughter. I am Filipina and also born with a fair skin and reading this book brings back all memories of childhood and my beloved country. It was so nostalgic and amazing to feel that again.I would love to share this to my daughter and friends.
